FOLLOW UP: Foul-mouthed Eagles fan Ryan Caldwell has been fired from his job and has apologized for his gameday taunts that were captured on video and swiftly went viral this week.
In a statement to the New York Post, Caldwell says in part, “What began as banter with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated to something more serious, and I said things that were unacceptable. In the heat of the moment, I chose unforgiving words to address one of the fans, Ms. Ally Keller.”
He specifically apologized to just about everyone, including his “wife, family, and friends, my former employer and colleagues, Packer fans, Eagle fans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the City of Philadelphia, and all who were offended.”
BUT WAIT: Caldwell’s contrition doesn’t come without caveats, though. He adds, “The video clip circulating online does not reflect the full context of what transpired, and my actions were not without provocation.”
Keller and her fiance have spoken with local media outlets and did admit to a bit of a back-and-forth, but said Caldwell’s behavior got worse after they tried to diffuse the tension. [via New York Post, TMZ]

A Colt 1911 .45-caliber pistol once owned by mobster Al Capone is now on display at the Mob Museum in Las Vegas, as part of a new exhibit called “The First Public Enemy.”
In addition to the gun, a short home movie from 1929 is featured. In the clip, Capone stays behind the camera, but two of his well-known associates, Lucky Luciano and Frank Costello, make an appearance.

DAVID BECKHAM says he has convinced wife VICTORIA BECKHAM to create a docuseries looking back on her 30-year career in fashion.
“It wasn’t the easiest to get her to agree to,” he told “Today” hosts SAVANNAH GUTHRIE and CRAIG MELVIN.
The project will be the first since David’s Netflix documentary, which he said also took a lot of convincing to get his wife to appear briefly in.
