HIT LIST
TOMORROW IS ELECTION DAY. Here’s the state of the race.
– “Squad” Representative RASHIDA TLAIB declined to formally endorse KAMALA HARRIS over the weekend. And if things couldn’t get nuttier, avowed white supremacist Richard Spencer has endorsed Harris because Trump is too pro-Israel.
RELATED: Harris is taking apparently contradictory stances on the Middle East conflict. In Pennsylvania, she’s running ads touting her support for Israel. In Michigan, she’s running pro-Palestine ads.
– An extra perimeter fence expanding the security footprint around the Naval Observatory went up over the weekend, in the event Harris wins and begins receiving even more extensive protection.
– Harris appeared in the cold open of “Saturday Night Live.” In September, LORNE MICHAELS said neither candidate would appear over equal-time concerns. The Trump campaign says they were never invited to appear. FCC Commissioner BRENDAN CARR calls this a “clear and blatant” equal time violation.
– In what is one of the most astonishing stories of the entire year that has been entirely lost in the campaign chaos, the Washington Post reports that Chinese intelligence agencies have hacked deeply into American telecommunication networks and have been actively monitoring real-time phone calls including DONALD TRUMP and JD VANCE. But the extent of the hack gives China access to the phones of millions of Americans, sources say. And it’s not even a top ten story.
– Trump has a busy final campaign day with four rallies: beginning in North Carolina, swinging through two in Pennsylvania, and closing things down at 9:30 pm in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Harris is finishing the last day of campaigning with rallies in Allentown, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. LADY GAGA is expected to appear at one of these rallies.

Friday’s October jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows devastating numbers for the economy, whose firms created just 12,000 jobs last month. Expectations exceeded 100,000.

Even with a doorbell camera, tracking down a culprit who’s committed property damage isn’t always a given – unless the perp is a USPS mailman.
A California man, Brady Muir, came home to find someone had crashed into the Jetta his son left parked in front of his house. Home camera footage revealed a mail truck driver struggling to control the vehicle, hitting the car, then speeding off.
After someone from the local post office came out to take photos for a reimbursement claim, Muir didn’t hear back. When he escalated it to the Sacramento Postmaster General, he was told to get two repair estimates. They told him it would take up to nine months to take a look at his information. Muir says that even though the impact was minor, the hit was enough to cause structural damage making the vehicle undriveable. The insurance claim wasn’t enough to replace it, and Muir settled for an older model.
GO FIGURE: The postal worker responsible for the crash retired immediately after the incident, local media reports. [via ABC 7]

Crooks in the Netherlands took off with a pair of screen prints of work by Andy Warhol from the MPV Gallery on Friday.
The stolen pieces depict Queen Elizabeth II and Denmark’s Queen Margrethe II. They’re part of a four-print series called “Reigning Queens.” The other two prints depict Dutch Queen Beatrix and Queen Ntfombi Twala of Swaziland.
The thieves apparently tried to take all four, but left the latter two on the street. Security footage shows they couldn’t get all the pieces into their getaway car.
The owner of the gallery hasn’t disclosed a value for the art. [via ARTNews]
